France into Spain

As we travel from town to town the first things you spot are the church spires and they are usually in prominent places. There is so much history tied up with the churches that they are usually worth a stop and most times they will be open for you to have a look inside. The buildings and artifacts associated with each church are interesting. We were getting closer to the Spanish border and started to notice changes in the architecture of the church buildings. This is the Pontenx les Forges Church. Notice the white flowers all starting to blossom in the grass.
